Parliamentarians intend to oblige owners of cats and dogs to register their pets. The deputies submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a bill that provides for universal chipping and the availability of a veterinary passport for every pet. In addition, stray animals will also be recorded everywhere, and farmers and stock breeders are expected to have a clearer registration procedure for livestock. All animals are planned to assign a unique identification number, and information on their health status, movements and owners should be entered into a special database. The Agrarian Committee has submitted 46 bills to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, which are  recommended to be adopted. This was reported on the Facebook page by the deputy head of the Agrarian Committee Oleksandr Bakumenko, agropolit.com reported.
