How much identification of one animal will cost to the farmer

The cost of identifying one farm animal will cost the farmer 30-40 UAH. This is stated in the bill № 9022 on "Identification and registration of animals", which was registered last week in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the website of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine reported according to agropolit.com.

As it is written in the explanatory note, the purpose of the bill is to establish uniform rules of state supervision and control over the identification and registration of animals in the farms of operators of the animal market.

Also, the authors of the draft law provided for a simplified mechanism of reimbursement of funds from the budget of Ukraine for the identification of animals by owners who are individuals. For these purposes it is planned to send more than 172 million UAH, but it is only about animals in households of individuals.

Explanatory note says that the total need for funds from the state budget for identification and registration of animals in households in accordance with the estimated issue of animals of 2018 (cattle, pigs, sheep, goats and horses) is 172508.4 thousand UAH.

Also in the explanation to the bill is attached the calculation of the cost of identification of the expected in 2018 issue of farm animals without taking into account the attachment of the means of identification.
