According to independent expert of the world export markets, Volodymyr Hontar, today three regions are most demographically active: Sub-Saharan Africa, South-East and Central Asia. These regions will give the main increase in the population on Earth - about 738 million in 10 years, АgroРolit reported.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy, in close cooperation with the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, milk producers and processors, profile organizations and international experts, carries out a number of activities aimed at developing the milk and dairy market in Ukraine.  Thus, the ministry developed and published for public discussion the order "On Approving the Requirements for Safety and Quality of Milk and Dairy Products", the adoption of which will introduce the proper production practices for the production, processing and introduction of milk and dairy products, will establish uniform, adapted requirements to the EU norms.

Over January-August, 2018 Ukraine has exported more than 130 million tons of dairy products for a total of $ 228.3 million, an increase of $ 17.8 million compared to the same period last year. Manufacturers of fresh dairy products consider September to be almost the best month of the year. On the one hand, the supply of inexpensive raw materials is still significant, on the other - the consumer demand is substantially increasing, INFAGRO reported.

External sales of dairy products showed a diverse dynamics in July. Compared with June, it became possible to significantly increase the export of dried whole milk and canned foods, but the sales of whey and butter decreased, INFAGRO reported.
