As of June 26, 2018 in Ukraine new cases of African swine fever were recorded. This is reported by the press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.

Polish Minister of Agriculture Jan Krzysztof Ardanovsky said that the decision to build a wall against the spread of African swine fever (ASF) should be taken on the basis of certain calculations. The politician noted that he is not a supporter of this form of fighting this disease. In May the Council of Ministers postponed work on the so-called special law on ASF. This is reported by the Polish radio, pravda.lutsk.ua reported.

According to the information of the Main Directorate of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in the Dnipropetrovsk region, on June 21, 2018, a disease of pigs was detected in the subsidiary farm of the Pokrovskyi  Correctional Center No. 79 of the South-Eastern Interregional Directorate for the Execution of Penalties and Probations of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine (Pokrov city, Dnipropetrovsk region) agronews.ua reported.

According to the information of the Main Directorate of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in the Donetsk region, on June 19, 2018 in the territory of the hunting grounds of the Krasnolymanskyi State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine of the Yampilskyi Forestry of the Siversk City Council between Dronivka village and Rudnyk village (Bakhmutskyi district of the Donetsk region) 9 corpses of wild pigs were detected, agronews.ua reported.

In Ternopil, Lviv, Poltava regions and Volyn were recorded cases of African swine fever (ASF). This is reported by the website of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection,  agropolit.com reported.

In the Zaporizhzhya region in the personal subsidiary farms of citizens in the village of Prymorske, Vasylivskyi district of Zaporizhzhya region, disease and death of pigs were recorded. A new outbreak of African swine fever in Romania was recorded in the southern region of the country, near the city of Tulcea, pigua.info reported. 

As of June 12, 2018 in Ukraine a new case of African swine fever was recorded. This was reported by the press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, according to pigua.info.

In Lithuania the second case of African swine fever (ASF) was recorded this year, according to a press release from the State Food and Veterinary Service, pigua.info reported
