Agricultural production has declined in Ukraine

In particular, agricultural enterprises for the reporting period reduced production by 4.7%, and the economy - by 0.5%.

The production of plant products in the first eleven months of this year decreased by 3.8% compared to January-November last year. The decline in production of these products in agricultural enterprises is 6.2%, while in households this indicator fell by 0.3%.

At the same time, production of livestock products in January-November decreased by 0.3%. The decline in production in the households of the population was 1.1%, while agricultural enterprises demonstrated an increase in production of these products by 0.8%.

The report notes that the data are given in constant 2010 prices without taking into account the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, as well as part of the zone of the anti-terrorist operation in the east of Ukraine.

Recall that in 2016 agricultural production in Ukraine increased by 6.1% compared with 2015. Agricultural enterprises in 2016 produced products by 9.8% more than a year earlier, and the population increased production by 1.5%.
