In January-May 2018 Ukraine increased sausage production by 5.2% compared to January-May of the previous year. This is evidenced by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, UNN reported.
In particular, according to the State Statistics Service, 97 thousand tons of sausage were produced in January-May of this year. In comparison with January-May of 2017, the production of this commodity grew by 5.2%.
It bears reminding that in January-May of 2018 industrial production in Ukraine increased by 2.6% compared to the same period last year.
Earlier it was reported that for the first two months of this year Ukraine exported sausages and similar meat products to Georgia and Azerbaijan the most - by 55 thousand dollars and 38.7 thousand dollars respectively.
