Over the year the Ukrainian sandwich with salo went up by 42%. This was announced by the Director of the Association of Trade Network Suppliers Oleksii Doroshenko on his Facebook page, kurkul.com reported.

Until the end of 2018 dairy products may raise in price by 10-15% due to a seasonal decline in the production of raw milk, analyst Maksym Fasteev, an analyst in Infagro Analytical Agency, said during a conference of the American Chamber of Commerce on which a study was presented on the prospects for the development of the food industry in Ukraine, UNIAN reported.

The growth in the value of the dairy basket, according to official figures, for the year amounted to 12%. Dairy products became more expensive from 0.2% to 33%: milk grew by 33%, butter - by 29%, sour cream - 19%, and cottage cheese - by 0.2%. Oleksii Doroshenko, general director of the Ukrainian Association of Trade Network Suppliers, wrote about this on his Facebook page, agroday.com.ua reported.

According to the results of the first quarter of 2018, food inflation in the countries of the European Union was 0.6%, while in Ukraine - 4.4%. The rate of rise in price of food products in the EU was 7 times slower than in Ukraine, the economical discussion club states, agroday.com.ua reports.

Chicken eggs as of April 2017 to April 2018 rose up by 93%. This observation was shared by Oleh Pendzin, executive director of the Economic Discussion Club.
