Thus, the relevant information came from the Food and Drug Administration of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade notes that the decision was made on the basis of the report of the International Epizootic Bureau on May 14, 2017, which states that there is no highly pathogenic avian flu in Ukraine.

It bears reminding that in mid-March, 2017, Iraq, China, Qatar, Yemen, Jordan imposed a ban on the supply of poultry products from all over Ukraine through outbreaks of avian flu.

The principle of regionalization for the supply of Ukrainian poultry products was applied by Hong Kong, the EU, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The ban on deliveries to these countries concerns only those Ukrainian regions where outbreaks of avian flu have been recorded.
