The primary task of the working group is to develop proposals for legislation on anti-ridership.

The corresponding working group was established on September 5, 2017 under the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations at one of its meetings "On the consideration of the issue" Raiding in the agrarian sector. The activities of state authorities to prevent the seizure of agricultural enterprises. " The created working group is called upon to develop legislative and administrative mechanisms for resolving the problem of raider tyranny in relation to agricultural enterprises, which has recently happened in Ukraine. The working group included people's deputies of Ukraine, central executive bodies and agrarian associations.

After all, according to unofficial statistics, today almost half of the agrarians have been attacked by raiders. The center and north of Ukraine suffer the most from raider captures, the south suffers slightly less. So, if last year there were about 50 reports on the captured raiders of the agrofirm, this year the number of raider attacks has doubled. Following the results of 2016, in the world rating of the Index of property rights, Ukraine dropped from 109th to 115th place among 129 countries. This not only jeopardizes the existence of the Ukrainian agrarian business, but also significantly worsens the investment climate in Ukraine.

The priority task of the working group is to develop proposals for legislation on anti-ridership that will be included in the future of the draft law on the protection of property rights of owners and users of land plots, preventing illegal takeover and seizure of enterprises in the agricultural sector of the economy. Based on the results of the proposals developed by the working group, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will adopt appropriate legislation.

"We know firsthand about the arbitrariness with the raider seizure of agricultural enterprises, because members of our Association have already faced problems face to face," says the chairman of the Ukrainian of Stock Breeders Association Iryna Palamar. - I urge all entrepreneurs to get involved in the overall work, making their proposals for combating raiding. We are always open to cooperation and will put legislative and administrative barriers to raiding as soon as possible. I am convinced that by cooperating, the authorities and entrepreneurs will be able to overcome raider's lawlessness, saving the reputation of our country in the international arena and the Ukrainian agrarian business.
