Elke Pankov, head of the Seed and Fertilizer Division of the European Association of Agricultural Machine-Building Industries, said that in general the volume of the agricultural machinery market in Europe in 2017 is estimated at € 3.34 billion. The most dynamically developing markets for agricultural machinery is in Romania and Ukraine. In addition, the Polish market shows a trend towards active growth.
At the same time, the European specialist noted the high demand for machinery for tillage, seeders, fertilizer spreaders and sprayers that work with intelligent applications and in symbiosis with virtual technologies, especially in Eastern Europe.
In addition, Elke Pankov noted that in electronic and digital technologies lies the potential of the European and world market of agricultural machinery.
In general, after a fall in productivity in 2016, the market for agricultural equipment for soil cultivation returned to the level of the previous three years.
