The trade turnover between Ukraine and Azerbaijan grew 2.6 times

Over the seven months of 2017, trade between the countries totaled $ 390.76 million, or 2.6 times higher than in the same period last year. At the same time, exports amounted to $ 190.36 million, an increase of 50%.

Thus, Minister of Economic Development Stepan Kubiv began an official visit to Azerbaijan, within the framework of which he will coordinate the details of holding the 12th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Azerbaijan Commission on Economic Cooperation, to be held in Kiev in 2018.

The program of Kubiv's visit also includes meetings with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev, the Ukrainian Diaspora, as well as a round table with entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan. In addition, two documents are planned to be signed: a cooperation agreement between the "Ukrainian Wine Institute" and the Azerbaijan Research Institute of Viticulture and Wine-Making; Memorandum of Understanding between "Azerbaijan Investment Company" and the Ukrainian "Indar Insulin Production Enterprise".
