Ukraine's exports amounted to $7.4 billion in the first two months of 2018

Within two months of 2018, Ukraine exported goods to other countries for $7.4 billion, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman wrote on his Facebook page, agropolit.com reported.

It is reported that this is 17.9% more than the same period last year.

37.6% is almost $3 billion from total exports. That are the products of the agro-industrial complex and food industry.

No less the world markets are interested in the Ukrainian products of the metallurgical complex. It was sold for almost $2 billion - 26.8% of total exports.

For the products of machine building, importers paid Ukrainians $840 million - 11.4%. A little less is the export of mineral fertilizers - for $375 million.

Ukrainian products of chemical and light industry, wood and paper pulp, various manufactured goods is also in demand.

Most of all Ukrainian goods are bought by the countries of the European Union. Over two months we exported products for $ 3.3 billion, which is 36.2% more than last year.

After the EU, most often goods produced in Ukraine are bought in Russia. Turkey, India and Egypt are also interested in our products.

Positive dynamics in trade is observed with Singapore, Belarus, Moldova and Iraq. At the same time, ukrainian goods was bought less by India, Iran, Algeria, South America and Saudi Arabia.

Most of all, European countries are interested in Ukrainian semi-finished products from steel, ores and iron concentrates, wheat, insulated wires and cables, soybeans, corn, poultry meat and telephone sets and their parts. While ukrainian sunflower oil, cruise ships, margarine and engines began to buy less.
