Ukrainian products were imported into the Russian Federation under the guise of goods from Macedonia, San Marino and Iran.

The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance does not exclude the legalization of Ukrainian cheese through Belarus when it is smuggled into the Russian Federation. This is reported on the official website of the Russian department.

As noted, in 2017 the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance repeatedly detected cases of importation of livestock products, accompanied by falsified veterinary certificates.

In particular, only in one point of the adoption of preliminary notices on the border with Belarus in October recorded import of 75 batches of protein-fat (vegetable-fat) product by 1.49 thousand tons. Including 24 batches weighing 484 tons, probably from Macedonia; 4 batches with a total weight of more than 80 tons, probably from San Marino; 5 batches per 100 tons, probably from Iran.

"Based on the results of the investigation, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance does not exclude the possibility of legalization of Ukrainian cheese or protein-fat product through Belarus," the official said in an interview with the veterinary services of Macedonia, Iran and San Marino. -  says the report.
