The signing took place in the framework of the II Ukrainian Silk Road Forum in Kiev, the correspondent of AgroPolit.com reports.

The memorandum of cooperation was signed by the chairman of the Sumy State Administration Mykola Klochko, the chairman of the Kherson regional state administration Andrii Hordieiev, the chairman of the Truskavets city council (Lviv region) Andrii Kulchynskyi and the chairman of the Fastiv City Council (Kyiv region) Mykhailo Netiazhuk.

The signing was held under the patronage of the public organization Silk Link, which was established with the goal of establishing comprehensive cooperation between Ukraine and the People's Republic of China and the transformation of Ukraine into a transport and logistics hub.

Cooperation of the regions of Ukraine with China will allow them to develop trade and economy, as well as strengthen interregional economic cooperation and implement investment projects.

Silk Link Chairman Iryna Nykorak noted that cooperation with China enables regions to integrate into world transport routes and attract foreign investments.

"The prospects for the Silk Road have been enormous: China has invested more than $ 50 billion over the last four years in the " One Belt, One Way”. Along the Silk Road, about 56 development zones in 20 countries and more than 180,000 jobs have been created. Today, the initiatives are being implemented in Ukraine. We begin with educational projects, "- says Iryna Nykorak.
