In the next 3-5 years in Ukraine there will be a struggle for cadres, and this already hinders investing in the agro-industrial complex.

This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy on European Integration Olha Trofimtseva at the IX International Conference "Agribusiness Management in Ukraine".

"The problem, in fact, is global, because Ukraine integrates into global processes, it becomes more access to information, training abroad, people go to work abroad. And this surcharge of 500 UAH to the minimum wage, announced by the Government, does not really solve this problem, " notes Olha Trofimtseva.
She stressed that it is necessary to start preparing their specialists right now and it is not even about higher education, but about the lyceum.

"A good example of such an institution already exists in the Cherkasy region. This year in September, agrarians initiated by Andriia Dykun, the chairman of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council, opened the Ukrainian Agrarian Lyceum, where specialists were trained from the school's bench, " says Olha Trofimtseva.
