The village in the Odessa region will receive 115 thousand UAH compensation for damage from ASF

In Krynychne village of Bolhradskyi district of the Odessa region quarantined from the African swine fever (ASF).

This was reported by the press service of the Bolhradskyid Regional State Administration.
So on December 12, under the leadership of the Deputy Chairman of the RGA Andrii Harvalov, an emergency meeting of the State Extraordinary Epizootic Commission was held at the Bolhradskyi regional state administration, with consideration of the quarantine removal from the ASF in the Krynychne village.

During the meeting, each member of the commission reported on the event according to the plan of measures to eliminate and prevent the spread of the ASF disease in the village.

Taking into account that there are no animals favorable for ASF in the village, and the plan of measures to eliminate and prevent the spread of the ASF disease has been fulfilled, the Commission decided to cancel quarantine in the Krynychne village on December 13, 2017. 

In addition, the removal of pigs and raw materials, products from their slaughter outside the Bolhradskyi district according to the decision of the commission, to implement in consultation with the State Administration of State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in the Bolhradskyi district.

It is also noted that heads of pig farms and owners of personal part-time farms need to ensure a permanent "closed mode" of work in accordance with the existing veterinary and sanitary requirements of Ukraine.
On the Belgorod market of PPF, the sale of animal meat, including slaughter pigs, is allowed, except for animals from the village of Krynychne.

In addition, 17 yards of the Krynychne village will be reimbursed for the cost of the seized pigs. To this end, 115.7 thousand UAH were allocated from the Bolhradskyi regional and Krynychne rural budgets for reimbursement. By the end of December this year, the villagers will receive compensation.
