The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted for consideration a draft law on the state budget (No. 9000) for 2019. As the correspondent of the agency Interfax-Ukraine reports, according to the procedure stipulated in Article 154 of the Verkhovna Rada Regulations, the Cabinet presented the document at the plenary session of the parliament on Friday.
"From now on, the parliament is moving on to discuss this budget ... Now the state budget of Ukraine is moving to the Verkhovna Rada for further work," - said the Parliament Speaker Andrii Parubii after presenting the draft state budget 2019.
According to the regulations of the Verkhovna Rada, before October 1 of this year, people's deputies will submit their proposals to the document, until October 15 they will be considered by the main committee.
The Verkhovna Rada should approve in the first reading the draft state budget until October 20.
