The Verkhovna Rada adopted the state budget for 2018

The Verkhovna Rada adopted the state budget for 2018. For the adoption of the whole bill number, 7000 273 deputies voted with minimum required 226. The Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danyliuk, speaking in the Rada before the vote, called the budget balanced and realistic.

He noted that the deficit of the state budget-2018 was reduced to 2.5% of GDP against 2.7% of GDP in 2017.
Next year, the consolidated budget revenue is expected to grow by 19% to over 1 trillion UAH.

When finalizing the state budget to support livestock raising, the general fund of the state budget was increased by 1.7 billion UAH. Resource of local budgets for 2018 increased by 35 billion UAH to 556 billion UAH, the volume of transfers provided from the state budget, increased by 29 billion UAH.

The increase in the minimum wage from January 1 is envisaged to UAH 3723.
Earlier in the second reading, the bill proposed to establish revenues of the general fund of the state budget in the amount of 839.8 billion UAH and special fund income in the amount of 73.8 billion UAH. The border size of the national debt at the end of 2018 is set at 1.999 trillion UAH.

The document also provides for the transfer by the National Bank of UAH 49.549 billion of profit instead of UAH 47.8 billion declared earlier. The document was developed based on the inflation forecast of 9%, GDP growth of 3%, nominal GDP is expected to reach UAH 3,332.3 billion.

The profit of profitable enterprises is expected at the level of 754.7 billion UAH.
The volume of exports of goods and services will increase by 4% and amount to 55.7 billion dollars, the volume of imports - by 6.3% and will be 63.4 billion dollars.
