Ukraine in January 2018 exported 19.69 thousand tons of poultry and by-products, which is 1.8 times more than for the same period in 2017, the State Fiscal Service reported.
According to her, in monetary terms, exports of these products increased by 2.3 times - up to $ 30.4 million, writes BusinessCenter. Import of poultry meat and by-products increased 1.7 times to 12.12 thousand tons, in monetary terms - 1.9 times and amounted to $ 5.3 million. According to UKRINFORM, exports of pork in January compared with the corresponding period of 2017 decreased 2.4 times to 0.16 thousand tons.
This production was delivered for $ 0.38 million against $ 0.69 million in January 2017. Import of pork in Ukraine for this period increased by 4.4 times - up to 0.29 thousand tons. The country of this type of meat was imported for $ 0.47 million, which is 3.7 times more than in January 2017.
As it was reported with reference to the customs data of UKRINFORM, in 2017 Ukraine increased pork deliveries to foreign markets 1.6 times to 4.92 thousand tons, the import of these products doubled to 5.6 thousand tons. Ukraine in 2017 increased the export of poultry meat and by-products by 13% - to 271.33 thousand tons. The import of these products increased by 42% compared to 2016 - up to 118.31 thousand tons.
