The State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection and the Animal and Plant Health Inspection (APHIS) of the US Department of Agriculture have reconciled the forms of veterinary certificates for animal fodder that are exported to Ukraine from the United States of America. This is reported by the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.

Also a veterinary certificate for the export of blood products from the United States to Ukraine, not intended for human consumption, but suitable for use in feeding, has been agreed, the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection reported.

As noted, a transition period is set until November 30, 2018, during which time pre-agreed forms of certificates will also be used.

At the same time, the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection and the Hungarian competent authority agreed on the form of an international veterinary certificate for the importation into Ukraine of fresh and/or cooled skins and cattle skins from Hungary.
