Ukraine as of April 17, 2018 fully used six quotas for duty-free exports within the free trade area (FTA) with the EU, in particular honey, malt and wheat gluten, processed tomatoes, grape and apple juices, as well as wheat and corn. This is reported by agropolit.com.

Ukraine also used the second quarterly quota for the export of poultry meat and a half-year quota for butter. 95% of the volume of duty-free supplies for cereals and flour is exhausted.

According to the results of January-February of this year, agri-food exports from Ukraine to the EU increased by 28.1%, or $ 224.7 million compared to the same period last year, and reached, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, $ 1.025 billion.

This year there was a revival of the rates of closing quotas, because, as of the same date, 2017, the volumes of wheat were not yet exhausted, and the quota for malt and wheat gluten in general remained unused last year. The fact that apart from the six basic quotas, four additional ones are closed, testifies to the intensification of trade relations with the EU," the expert commented.
