Ukraine exported milk for $ 3.8 million over two months of 2018

The report says that the main buyers of Ukrainian milk are Moldova - 1.36 thousand tons for $ 961 thousand; Libya - 1.31 thousand tons for $ 929 thousand; Georgia - 0.94 thousand tons for $ 664 thousand.

"Since 2016 there has been a growth in production on the market: every year the dairy market grew by 4%, which indicates the adaptation of domestic dairy farmers after the crisis of 2014, the general economic downturn, a drop in demand and a physical decline in the sales market as on the territory of Ukraine, and abroad markets," analysts of Pro-Consulting noted.

They also noted that the most important directions of the market development are the growth of the population's incomes, the increase of the fashion for healthy food and organic products, the activation of the production of ultra-pasteurized milk (technology development), as well as the development of Asian markets and the further penetration of the stores in Europe after a number of manufacturers permissions.
