The event was organized by the German-Ukrainian Agrarian Dialogue (APD) project, the German Agribusiness Alliance (GAA), IFWexpo (IFWexpo), the evening's partners were the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Federal Republic of Germany.
"Such meetings are one of the opportunities to attract foreign investments and demonstrate the potential of the Ukrainian agrarian sector for German partners. This year, ideas were considered about the possibility of exporting Ukrainian technological innovations from precision farming, " comments the expert.
Germany is an important trading partner of Ukraine in the agricultural sector. For 7 years, the export of agricultural products from Ukraine to this country increased 2.7 times from $ 86.5 million (in 2010) to $ 233.7 million (in 2016). For 11 months of 2017, compared to 2016, the export of agricultural products from Ukraine to Germany grew by 63%. In the structure of imports of agricultural products, Germany is the largest supplier of agricultural products in Ukraine (for 11 months in 2017).
