Ukraine and Georgia can increase their turnover to $ 1 billion per year from the current nearly $ 500 million.
This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman on his official Facebook page, while on an official visit to Georgia.
"We are also united in the need to strengthen cooperation in the agricultural sector, energy, tourism, exchange experience of reforms. We can increase our turnover to $ 1 billion a year - from the current almost $ 500 million, " says he.
In addition, according to the prime minister, the countries have many "common denominators" - first of all in economic cooperation.
"One of them is an understanding of our transit potential. Its combination in the framework of the "New Silk Road" project can give an extraordinary effect and offer new trade routes in the direction of East-West and East-South, " says Volodymyr Hroisman.
