There will not be any ban on the purchase of milk from the population

No restrictions on the intake of second-class milk from the population in Ukraine will not be introduced. Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman announced this during a government meeting, commenting on information bursts about the possibility of introducing new sanitary standards for milk.

"There was a signal to ban the sale of second-class milk from the population. I want to warn – let people grow cattle, sell milk peacefully and let no one interfere with them. There cannot be any prohibitions in the country, " stresses the Prime Minister, instructing the Ministry of Agrarian Policy to monitor the situation.

In parallel, the Government is implementing a number of measures aimed at the gradual improvement of milk quality, will be accompanied by considerable state support.

"The state will support the improvement of milk quality. Within the framework of state programs on the development of livestock and farming, peasants will be able to join cooperatives and receive funds for appropriate equipment, " comments First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Maksym Martyniuk.
