The Ukrainian Stock Breeders Association continues to analyze how agro-subsidies are developed in 2018. This time we will talk about livestock subsidies.
The chairman of the Ukrainian Stock Breeders Association Iryna Palamar together with the People's Deputy of Ukraine Viktor Krivenko spoke at a briefing in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, where she noted the need for a detailed revision of the Procedure for using livestock resources, which, in the current version, is not aimed at protecting the interests of agricultural producers, but, on the contrary, is aimed at their liquidation.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman drew the attention of the Cabinet to the importance of making all the necessary decisions to launch programs to support farming by the end of January. This is reported by Interfax.
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, as of October 1, 96 agricultural enterprises received compensation for the amount of 11.58 million UAH for 149 units of Ukrainian agricultural machinery purchased by them. This is only 2.3% of the 550 million UAH allocated in the state budget for 2017 for the program "Financial support of agricultural producers" in the direction of "Partial compensation of the cost of agricultural machinery and equipment of domestic production."
