According to the State Statistics Service in the first quarter of this year, Ukrainian agrarians exported to foreign markets products worth $ 4.3 billion. One of the most promising markets for the export of Ukrainian agrarian products are the countries to the south of the Sahara, in which a significant increase in the consumption of wheat, sugar, meat, dairy products and vegetable oils is expected. According to the results of 2017, Ukraine showed an increase in the supply of agri-food products to the EU by 34%, which is 1.4 billion euros more than last year.
The foreign trade turnover between Ukraine and the EU countries, by the results of January-November 2017, increased by 31.1% or by $ 1.715 billion, compared to the same period in 2016, and amounted to $ 7.2 billion.
