In January-May, in Ukraine the production of milk and condensed cream (with fat content from 1% to 6%) increased by 1.6% compared to the same period last year - up to 195 thousand tons. This is evidenced by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, UNN reported.

Falsification of dairy products is actively developing in Ukraine. "Dirty" technology came into industry, and labeling of goods often does not match their actual composition.

Ukrainian products were imported into the Russian Federation under the guise of goods from Macedonia, San Marino and Iran.

Following the results of ten months of this year, Ukraine supplied dairy products to foreign markets for $ 225.6 million, which is 73.2% more than in the same period last year.

As of November 10 since the beginning of the year, more than 90% of social food products have risen in price. In this case, all types of dairy products have become more expensive than more than 17%.

Ukrainian producers of fresh dairy products continue to experience difficulties in selling products. This is not surprising, because it was in October, the most massive and significant increase in prices for fresh dairy products.

Another decline in consumer demand for their products is recorded by enterprises in the Kherson region specializing in milk processing.

According to the results of January-September, 2017, Ukraine delivered to the foreign markets 6,563 tons of cheese, which is 19% higher than the figure for the same period in 2016.
