Sugar, butter and chicken fell in price in Ukraine

Since the beginning of the year, sugar, butter and chicken have fallen in price in Ukraine. This is evidenced by the data of the inflation barometer, as of May 7, reports UNN.

 

It is noted that sugar fell in price by 0.2% - to 16.1 UAH per kilogram. At the same time, oil has fallen in price by 2.4% to 35.7 UAH. The price of chicken also dropped - by 0.6% to UAH 91.1 per kilogram of product.

Other types of meat - pork and beef added 4.2% and 10.2%, respectively. Thus, as of May 7, 1 kg of pork on average costs 103.9 UAH, 1 kg of beef - 129.3 UAH.

Along with this, since the beginning of the year, prices for vegetables have significantly increased: beets added 75.5% to 13.4 UAH per kg, potatoes - 33.9% to 8.4 UAH per kg, onions - 10.3% up to 6 UAH per kg.

At the same time, there was a slight rise in price of eggs - by 3.1%, to 34.9 UAH for a dozen, flour - by 4.8%, to 12.09 UAH per kg and rice - by 4.9%, to 26, 8 UAH per kg.
