Stepan Kubiv was appointed to a new position

The Cabinet of Ministers appointed First Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv as a government representative on the Supervisory Board of the Rada of the Business Ombudsman.

The relevant order was approved today at a government meeting. It bears reminding that Dmytro Havrysh was appointed to the post of chairman of the board of the SFGCU.
 
According to the order, changes in the composition of the supervisory board are necessary for its actualization, since it included the former head of the Ministry of Economic Development Aivaras Abromavičius. The order provides for an exclusion from the supervisory board of Abromavičius and include Kubiv.
 
It bears reminding that in the second quarter of 2017 before the Business Ombudsman Council received 237 complaints, which is 11.4% less than in the previous quarter.
 
Earlier, the head of the sector of agrarian and land law problems of the Institute of State and Law V.N. Koretskyi National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Pavlo Kulynych noted that Ukraine needs an independent land ombudsman as a specialized advocate of land rights.
