The price of chicken eggs in 2018 will fluctuate

In January, Ukrainian-made chicken eggs began to become cheaper. "Beginning in January, when the demand for foodstuffs begins to fall (after purchases of products before the New Year - Auth.), Accordingly, exports are also weak, and the price begins to decline, as the eggs are stored for 30-32 days. Therefore, for eggs in retail, the price of 2-3 UAH fell."

The expert predicts that in future chicken egg producers in Ukraine will be able to stabilize prices for their product.

"I believe that egg producers will try to come to a normal economic model, in which those price fluctuations that are today will prove to be simply impossible. If the producers come to the normal economic model of the formation of the price of eggs, the price will be stable throughout the year. But I do not think it will be in 2018, " say he.
