Milk safety project will work in Ukraine until April 2019

This testifies to the relevance of the issues on which the Project is working in conjunction with the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.

Since the launch of the project “Creating a food safety control system based on risk assessment in the cycle of production and marketing of dairy products in Ukraine” in October 2015, it was planned that it would end on December 31, 2018.

Depending on the region of Ukraine, retail prices for beef today range from 150 to 200 UAH per kg (30% more than at the beginning of the year), and for pork - 120 -160 UAH/kg (15% higher than in January),"- is said in a statement.

Production of agricultural products becomes more expensive in Ukraine

According to the report, expenses for material and industrial resources of industrial origin used in agricultural production increased by 16.2% in January-August this year compared to the same period last year. In August, compared with June, expenditures on inventories of industrial origin increased by 1.7%.

Ukraine and China are planning to double trade turnover

Agrarians do not really want to take subsidies for equipment

These changes are fixed by a special resolution of the Cabinet. Earlier, the authorities provided for compensation of 25% of the costs of agricultural producers for the purchase of equipment, if it is included in the list of Ministry of Economic Development. It includes about 2 thousand names of 60 Ukrainian manufacturers.

Equipment can be bought only with the help of the state banks “Oschadbank”, “Ukreximbank”, “Ukrgasbank” and “PrivatBank”.

72% of united territorial communities have already received agricultural land from the government

As of October 1, 2018 479 united territorial communities received communal ownership of agricultural land outside the settlements with a total area of more than 938.7 thousand hectares. At the moment the schedule for the transfer of state agricultural lands to the communal property of united territorial communities in the Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kirovohrad and Cherkasy regions is fully implemented.
