New cases of ASF were found in Moldova

Wild wild boars shot in Moldova were diagnosed with African swine fever.
 

The virus was found in the Lucheshty village, Kahulskyi district, Zloty city of the Chimishliiskyi district and Vatich Orheivskyi district. Samples of the biomaterial were also examined by the national reference laboratory. Also the diagnosis of ASF was confirmed in domestic pigs in the personal subsidiary farm in Karpin, Khyncheshtskyi district. The animals had to be utilized.

It bears reminding that in October 2016 was recorded the first case of ASF in the territory of Moldova. From March 2017 until November, the disease was not heard, and in November the disease broke out in the subsidiary farm in the town of Palanka, Shtefan-Vodskyi district.
