On February 12 in Ukraine, 2 cases of ASF among domestic pigs were recorded. This is reported by the press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
So, in Chernivtsi region, diseases and mortality of pigs were recorded in LLC " Mereniuk I.F." (Molodiia village, Hlybotskyi district).
In addition, disease and mortality of pigs were found in personal subsidiary farm of Timus L.F. (Pochapyntsi village, Chemerovetskyi district, Khmelnytskyi region).
In the study of selected samples of biomaterial in the laboratory confirmed the diagnosis - ASF. In the foci of the disease, measures are taken to localize and prevent the spread of the causative agent of the disease.
