New case of ASF was registered in the Crimea

A new outbreak of African swine fever was recorded in the Crimea. The genetic material of the disease was found in samples taken from the corpses of wild boars, according to the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, according to pigua.info.

Dead animals were found not far from the Mizhhiria village of Bilohirskyi district. Now specialists of the veterinary service of the region and the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance department are working in a dysfunctional territory, preventive, diagnostic and other measures are being carried out.
