New case of ASF was recorded in the Donetsk region

In the Donetsk region, two corpses of wild boars were found on the territory of the hunting grounds of the civil-military administration of Zaitseve village (Bakhmutskyi district). This is reported by the press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, reported.

In the study of selected samples of biomaterial in the Dnipropetrovsk regional state laboratory of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection on 25.04.2018, the DNA of the ASF virus was identified (report on the results of the study No. 000613 p.m./18 dated 25.04.2018).

In order to coordinate actions to localize and eliminate the outbreak of ASF, a meeting of the state emergency antiepizootic commission was held at the Bakhmutskyi district state administration, the decision of which approved the plan for the elimination of ASF, the borders of the epizootic focus, protection zones and surveillance.

In the hearth of the disease, measures are taken to localize and prevent the spread of the pathogen of ASF.
