The information about the ASF case at SE “Dekabrysty experimental farm” was confirmed by the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences (Poltava region, Myrhorod district). The virus was recorded on both sites - the sow house and the fattening department, pigua.info reported.
SE “Dekabrysty experimental farm” is the only enterprise in Ukraine that specialized in Myrhorod pig breeding. 100% of the genetic potential of the breed was concentrated on the farm (6 boar lines, 12 families of sows).
In March of this year another experienced farm of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences suffered from ASF - Experimental Farm "Stepne", Poltava district.
