Perspective are grains and oilseeds, because we have competitive advantages over them and the global demand for them is quite large.

This was told by the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine on issues of European integration Olha Trofimtseva in an interview "New time. Business".

According to Olha Trofimtseva, the state for the next year pays more attention to the livestock sector.
"As I sometimes joke that next big thing to come it will be beef. Why beef? According to requests that come to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, there is a demand for this product, " says she.

The deputy minister said that this sub-sector is not developed to date. However, state support from next year provides for the construction of new farms, new complexes for fattening cattle, contributing to the growth of meat and cattle meat production.

"It can be exported to the markets of the East, Asia and Africa, because there are much fewer restrictions in Ukraine than with pork," notes Olha Trofimtseva.

And she added that the results show organic agricultural products. This sector is rapidly developing, and the products are exported mainly to the European Union.

"The emergence of the market for recycled, high-margin products prompts producers to develop technologies, understanding the business and looking for money wherever it is possible to earn money." In this sense, we, the government, and the ministry have an understanding with business," sums up Olha Trofimtseva.
