Japanese swine flu is replacing ASF

The Minister of Agriculture of Japan reported that swine flu was registered in the country for the first time in 26 years. This flu differs from the African swine fever. This is reported by Reuters, according to kurkul.com.

Firstly, the flu appeared in China, now it was found in the city of Gifu, which is in the center of Japan.

The minister said that this disease is transmitted to domestic and wild pigs. It does not threaten people.

The first time a new disease was discovered in August 2018 in China. The disease spread to 18 farms in 6 provinces.
