To optimize the work of the participants of the grain export chain in Ukraine, it is necessary to eliminate the discrepancy between the evaluation of products according to GOST and ISO standards.
This opinion was expressed by the head of the company "UTA Logistic" Pavlo Plotnikov, writes cfts.org.ua.
"In Europe, we see that farmers send grain to terminals for ISO. Accordingly, in the port cars are taken for 10 minutes without unnecessary delays. In Ukraine, when exporting, when concluding contracts, we do it according to ISO. In addition, when accepting goods from our farmers are forced to use the GOST standards. This significantly complicates the work and increases the time required”, says Pavlo Plotnikov.
In his opinion, it is necessary to conduct work, including with domestic farmers, in order to maximize the transition to ISO.
