Israeli mission is to assess the system of state control over the production of eggs in Ukraine

In Ukraine, a delegation of the veterinary service of the State of Israel is on a working visit to assess the system of state control over the production of table eggs and the lifting of the ban on the export of these products to Israel. This is reported by the press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, agravery.com reports.

Within the framework of the mission, representatives of the Israeli delegation met Director of the Department of Food Safety and Veterinary Medicine Boris Kobal.

Representatives of the mission got acquainted with the functions and powers of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection. Also, working meetings are planned with representatives of a number of territorial bodies of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection and inspecting enterprises interested in exporting dining eggs to the Israeli market.

The mission will last from May 7 to May 11, 2018. According to the results of the mission, the Ukrainian side expects the resumption of egg exports to Israel.
