Iryna Palamar discussed the establishment of meat exports to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with representatives of the embassy and business of KSA

The event, which took place at the Premier Palace Hotel (Kyiv), gathered representatives of the Ukrainian ministries and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine parliamentary group on inter-parliamentary relations with the KSA, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Ukraine Judia Alhazal and other representatives of the embassy, ​​specially invited investors from KSA that are interested in cooperation with Ukraine.

The issues that were touched upon during the speeches of honorable guests concerned the development of interrelations between Ukraine and Saudi Arabia. In particular, they discussed the potential of cooperation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Ukrainian companies; economic cooperation with Ukraine, in accordance with the diversification of the economy of KSA according to the program "Vision 2030"; the potential of the Ukrainian agro-industrial complex for investments from KSA and others.

The head of the USBA, Iryna Palamar, talked with representatives of the KSA embassy, ​​as well as representatives of the business of KSA, who were interested in investing in the Ukrainian economy and developing agrarian business relations.

They discussed the possibilities for exporting Ukrainian live cattle and beef to KSA, the introduction of joint investment projects for fattening bulls for export in Ukraine, construction of meat processing enterprises, in which foreign representatives of the country showed interest.

The head of the Ukrainian Stock Breeders Association Iryna Palamar has agreed on cooperation in agribusiness with the International Program "BRIDGES", which is actively working on establishing relations with potential foreign investors, implementing educational agrarian programs and business trips to the United States.

Also, as part of the event, guests were introduced to the concept of the special edition of the international business magazine Image.ua "Ukraine - Saudi Arabia. 25 years of cooperation", on the pages of which companies interested in cooperation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be able to present their opportunities for further signing of long-term cooperation agreements.

It bears reminding that in November 2017 the celebration of the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations of Ukraine, organized on the initiative of the Ukrainian Stock Breeders Association and the international business magazine Image.ua with the support of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine was held. At the event, a special issue of Image.ua magazine was presented dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Ukraine's diplomatic relations, where the main topic of the issue was an interview with the head of the Ukrainian Stock Breeders Association Iryna Palamar, who was also selected by the magazine's expert council on the cover of the issue.
