Since April 4, 2018 inspections of livestock producers have started, in accordance with general hygiene requirements and HACCP principles. This is reported on Facebook page by the Public Union Association for the Integration of HACCP, according to agropolit.com.

Since April 4 of this year inspections of market operators have begun, especially those who have already passed all the terms for setting up processes in accordance with the general hygiene requirements and the principles of HACCP, that is, producers of livestock products. Inspections will be conducted in accordance with registration and accounting of capacity forms, and a plan that indicates the official name of the operator, the specified location of capacities and activities.

The most risky is the production of animal origin, which is made from raw materials: fish, milk, meat, eggs and products from them. Accordingly, by September 20, 2017 the producers of such products had to introduce the HACCP principles at their enterprises and develop procedures based on these principles. Market operators producing products that are raw materials for vegetable production or reworked livestock products are required to implement procedures based on the HACCP principles until September 20, 2018, and small food producers until September 20, 2019.

Inspectors will act in accordance with legislation and acts designed to verify compliance with certain requirements of the law "On the basic principles of food safety and quality". According to it, food market operators were to introduce general hygiene requirements by September 20, 2016, in which food production is possible and food contamination/damage by various groups of hazardous factors is eliminated.
