Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman reported on the transfer of 387 thousand hectares of agricultural land belonging to the state to the ownership of 251 united territorial communities (UTC), Interfax reported.
"We have already transferred land to the 251 united territorial communities, which is 387 thousand hectares of land," he said during a government meeting on Wednesday.
As it was reported, 665 UTCs were established in Ukraine, to which, according to preliminary estimates, about 759 thousand hectares of agricultural land in state ownership can be transferred.
At the end of last year the government approved a decree on transferring land to UTC ownership outside the settlements.
