The government sent 1.9 billion UAH of subventions form the infrastructure to the united communities

The government approved the allocation of 1.9 billion UAH of subventions from the state budget to local budgets for the formation of the corresponding infrastructure of the united territorial communities in 2018. This was reported by the press service of Ukraine's vice-premier Hennadiy Zubko.

665 united territorial communities this year will receive financial support to improve the quality of services, reconstruction and repair of streets and roads, the establishment of Administrative Services Centers, the restoration of social facilities, schools, kindergartens, water facilities, the introduction of energy efficiency measures, the acquisition of vehicles, etc. This was stated during meeting of the Government Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko, commenting on the adoption of the relevant resolution.

In addition, he said that the government has improved the procedure for the formation of a list of projects that will be financed by subventions from the state budget to local budgets for the formation of the united territorial communities infrastructure.

"The funds, among other things, will be used to overhaul infrastructure facilities that belong to communal property, as well as streets and roads of settlements, and other roads that are part of the highways of state importance." Also changing is the deadline for the community to submit projects to the Ministry of Regional Development. They must submit for the entire amount of the subvention within two months from the entry into force of the resolution," the official said.

The decision improves the procedure and conditions for granting subventions from the state budget to local budgets for the formation of the infrastructure of the united territorial communities in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On the Voluntary Unity of Territorial Communities".
