Government amended the procedure for issuing veterinary documents

The Cabinet amended the procedure for issuing veterinary documents. This was reported by the press service of the State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine, referring to Government Resolution No. 447 of June 6, 2018, according to agravery.com.

It is determined that goods that are exported outside the territory of Ukraine must be accompanied by originals of international veterinary certificates issued by the state inspector of veterinary medicine or by an authorized veterinarian on the basis of applications of the owner of the goods or the person authorized by him.

"The decision was made to establish efficient work of the territorial bodies of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection and the possibility of drafting veterinary documents when exporting livestock products in accordance with current international requirements. At the same time the Government's decision will ensure continuity of the functions of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in the field of food safety and veterinary medicine," is said in the resolution.
