According to the Hydrometeorological Center, on August 6, an emergency (5th class) level of fire danger will prevail in the Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhzhia, Rivne, Poltava, Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia regions. This is reported by the State Emergency Service, kurkul.com reported.
Fire danger of 4th class, which qualifies as high, will prevail in Kyiv and Kyiv region.
One of the fires recently has been eliminated on the field in Volyn. According to the data of the State Administration of Emergency Situations in the Volyn region, the stubble burned near the village of Rykovychi in the Ivanychivskyi district on an area of 0.5 hectares. Firefighters of the Ivanychi, Rykovychi and Pavlivka villages helped to eliminate the fire.
The reason for the fires was the neglect of fire safety rules by citizens. It is noted that 16 fires were eliminated in Volyn in the past week.
