Ukraine exported 44.47 thousand tons of eggs over the period of January-June 2018, which is 1.9 times more than the figure for the same period last year, according to customs statistics of the State Fiscal Service, UNIAN reported. The main importers of Ukrainian eggs were the United Arab Emirates, Iraq and Qatar.
In monetary terms the export of eggs amounted to $ 39.99 million, while for the same period last year, egg exports amounted to $ 22.03 million. The main importers of Ukrainian eggs during this period were the UAE ($ 15.65 million), Iraq (7,3 million dollars), Qatar (3.81 million dollars).
As UNIAN reported, in 2017 the export of eggs amounted to 88.58 thousand tons.
