In the first half of 2018 agriculture showed significant growth - by 11.4% (minus 2.1% in the first half of 2017), agropolit.com reported.
The growth, to a greater extent, was due to an increase in the volume of production of crop production by 1.8 times ("minus" 8.5% in the first half of 2017) in a faster harvesting campaign for early varieties of crops and winter rapeseed in certain regions.
Also there was an increase in livestock production by 0.1% (minus 0.9% in the first half of 2017), which was supported by the development of the poultry industry.
