A directory of microbiological criteria in food products in the EU and PRC was created for Ukrainian exporters

A guidebook "Comparison of indicators of microbiological criteria in food products in the European Union and the People's Republic of China" has been developed for the Ukrainian food manufacturers. The guidebook was created with the aim of helping to open new markets for Ukrainian food producers.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
A wide range of specialists was involved in the development of the guidebook, in particular, from the project "Development of the Investment Climate in Ukraine" by the World Bank Group and the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, ministries, relevant diplomatic institutions, leading industry experts.
 
According to the Chairman of the State Consumer Protection Service Volodymyr Lapa, during the presentation of the directory, the Service has the opportunity to implement a number of basic tasks that contribute to the development of business. This applies to expert support in the development of the regulatory framework, in particular, with the approximation of Ukrainian legislation to the European one, the development of practical solutions on the issues of the output of Ukrainian products to the markets of other countries, training for producers and processors, and dissemination of information materials.
 
The publication was prepared with the financial support of the Swiss Government through the Swiss Development Agency (SECO). The document is still in Ukrainian. Subsequently, it will be improved taking into account feedback from market operators and translated into English and Russian.
Reference: with the support of the Ministry, the specialists of the Ukrainian Agricultural Business Association (Ukrainian Agricultural Business Club) and qualified lawyers of Vasyl Kisil & Partners Law Firm developed a legal guide for foreign investors in the Ukrainian agrarian sector.
